I'll be heading over to NJ next week. I'll work out of the Iselin office for a few days.
My parents will fly into NY next weekend. We will all go back to Florida together.

4 weeks left in my internship. I had a fun week in Seattle. Did the Puget sound cruise. Went to a taco place run by a sardarji. Indians are really well spread out :)

I was talking to a ISB class of 2009 student. I realized that had I joined ISB instead of Tuck last year, I would have graduated in April this year!!! Wow..would have been a radically different experience and set of friends...

Checked into the 'W' in Seattle yesterday.. Nice hotel..very nicely placed and excellent rooms.
Last evening I understood the clout that my internship firm has in Seattle.
There was an intern celebration at a local zoo with rock bands etc. The entire traffic from the campus till the event location was stopped for the buses transporting us...I mean ALL the traffic including I-5 !!! All this on a Friday evening at 5 PM...WOW....it was an impressive sight.. 20 buses in a motorcade, accompanied by cops on motorcycles..

And i got a free 8Gb Zune at the end!!! I love the radio on it :)...of course I am playing around with it..

Sometimes life just plods on..I am in an internship that is exciting as well as routine..

As a consultant, one of the unspoken privileges was that at the end of it all, you simply move to a new client and project. The employee is stuck with it all till he/she decides to switch jobs.

I am now faced with the dilemma of the employee... Of course, the current position apparantely provides you with an option to move every few years to newer pastures within the organization if you so desire. But thats still a slow way to end the misery.

Dont get me wrong..I love the task that I am doing..I just wonder what happens after it gets old... whats the exit strategy!!

Well..plan to see Hellboy II this weekend..

Also, my parents got a visitor visa to the US this week. So lets see when I can get them over here..
